Nearly one-third of the population relies on agricultural activities for their household income. However, a significant barrier to agro-development is the lack of viable access to financial services for rural producers. While developing their skills and growing their productive and commercial capabilities, members learn about the various state resources available to them and how to access them. The project also provides seed capital to selected cooperatives in the form of physical assets such as machinery, equipment, and land, at a below-market interest rate.
