Suyana is strengthening its presence in Rwanda and Uganda by building local teams, deepening relationships with existing partners and communities, and gaining a stronger understanding of local contexts and priorities. As the organisation prepares for the next stage of its programmes, this work is laying the foundations for a more locally rooted approach, built around strong partnerships, local structures and long-term impact.

Discover the results of EMPOWER 360, a one-year project implemented by Suyana and InPact in Uganda to strengthen access to clean water, nutrition, clean energy and sustainable livelihoods for vulnerable rural households.

Two weeks after classes began, participants in the third 2026 cycle are discovering much more than the training modules: new responsibilities, classmates from different regions and territories, and, for some, their first experience away from home.

The organization evaluates its staff and operational teams twice a year, creating spaces to review progress, identify challenges, and define actions that strengthen the achievement of its institutional objectives.

In 2025, Suyana continued to strengthen local partnerships and systems across Latin America, Africa and Switzerland, supporting communities through integrated work in health, education and sustainable livelihoods. The Annual Report highlights the results, partnerships and stories behind this work, as well as Suyana’s continued commitment to locally led, lasting change.

Suyana Foundation took part in the La Paz International Book Fair with workshops on reading comprehension, logical thinking, and healthy habits for children, families, and teachers.

Suyana Foundation and the Straumann Group Foundation delivered dental equipment to the Ventilla Health Center in Inquisivi, benefiting more than 3,000 residents across seven rural communities.
